Desiree sat in a splits position with her arms out in front of her, pulling herself down.
"You are such a show off!" Megan said and slapped her friend.
Desiree sat up and got out of my stretch. "I'm properly stretching, unlike someone else I know." Desiree said and slapped her back.
"Come on stretching is pointless." Megan responded.
"Says the girl who pulls muscles during practice." Desiree laughed.
Megan gave gave her friend a crooked smile.
"Alright class, I have some news for you before we get started." Miss Wren announced, "I have agreed to teach classes to emotionally unstable, abussed, juevenile diliquences in order to teach them a value. The problem is I need some help and I was wondering if any of you would want to help me teach dance classes?"
"Would we get paid?" Daniel (a boy hip-hop dancer) asked.
"No, this is strictly volunteer work." Miss Wren answered.
"Desi and I will do it!" Megan volunteered.
Desiree shot her friend a look. She knew Megan knew how she felt about kids like that. They were bad examples and no amount of help would set them straight.
"Great!" Miss Wren smiled.
"Miss Wren-"
"That's okay, I already put you down."
"No you don't under-"
"Really, oh thank you Elizabeth for volunteering!"
"Mis-"
"Desiree, I put you down, relax!"
"Ugh!" Desiree groaned and threw her friend a dirty look. Megan shrugged.
"It starts in two weeks." Miss Wren said happily while she wrote down the volunteers names.

Alex sat on a falling apart brick wall, smoking. He breathed and smoke pour out of his mouth. The smell of cigerettes surrounded the air around him. Police sirens slowly filled his ears. The sound gradually growing. He looked down the street and put out his cigerette. He watched as the police car came closer, but as it slowed down near him he began to panic.
"Hey, you!" A cop yelled as he got out of the car.
Alex remained silent.
"Do you have drugs on you?" the cop asked.
"No." Alex shifted uncomfortably.
"Well your mother told us that you have been buying drugs, so we are going to need to check your backpack, we have a warrent." he stated.
"My mom?" Alex asked unbelieveingly.
"Came by this morning, said she could tell us something about you, said she wanted to teach you a lesson." the cop said.
Alex couldn't believe it, he knew he was a terrible son, but he had taken the drugs from the under the sink in the kitchen. It was her drugs, not his.
"They're hers, not mine." Alex told him.
"Cuff him." the officer said and grabbed Alex's arm.
